some of the countrys finest, from the early and present house scene, are united on this release. raoul belmans also know as dj raoul (swirl people/food club/silo), raffa formerly know from soul and future jazz band sweet coffee and labelowner melodymann bring three feel good house cuts based around a self explanatory vocal motif *keep it coming!* by one of melodymathics residents - alex agore. it is this sort of euphoric house music you can drop anytime in your set and just stand back watching a sea of arms raised in response.

london based us producer lance de sardi joins the hudd traxx fray for the last 12inch before the label hits 50 releases and commence the 10th anniversary celebrations. although there s only three cuts on west country, de sardi more than shows his diversity as a producer and it s a fine addition to a discography that dates back to the 90s.pariah kicks the ep off in fine style with smooth beats, an infectious vocal and lush pads ensure that this will be a big one for the heads. flip for the b side and find a tough acidy number in youth, and a groovy track in race the clock which is made for the dance floor. 2015 is already proving to be a big year for hudd traxx following releases from iron curtis & nachtbraker, and lance de sardi keeps the flag flying high with this solid ep.

norwegian producer thomas urv drops the småskansen ep on his own ploink imprint this april. one of norways leading techno prospects, thomas urv has promoted and played at countless events across the country featuring the likes of jeff mills, juan atkins, derrick may, carl cox, richie hawtin, robert hood and kevin saunderson. when not delivering his three deck performances across scandinavia, spain, france, holland, canada and the uk (for fabric and bestival) the norse producer is firmly focused on ploink and his studio activities. *fuktig sol* leads the ep and is a sinister cut led by a morose hook and syncopated rhythm whilst whirring atmospherics add to a looming tension. the dark undertones continue in *stell/less* although steady kicks construct a vibe better suited towards peak time dancefloor madness. tying up the release *sånn isbre* delivers a frenzy of layered sounds that evolve over the course of a lengthy 16 minutes.

up first on okno is the restless naples producer, nplgnn. after vividly capturing our attention with his first release, meccano on nute, nplgnn followed up with his first 12inch release on whereiidance, sigma / tau. nplgnns uniquely straight up analogue dancefloor jams (just check acid ufo) have unsurprisingly been snapped up and played by tastemakers including ben ufo, low jack and mumdance. 2015 is bound to be a top year for this guy, and we are excited to present his first release of the year. 1925 ep delivers three slabs of kickdrum-heavy rhythmic excursions, ranging from the detroit-flavoured 1925 ft deep to 90s inspired ravers are still living. true tackle.

fresh from the release of their very first lp, here is an ultra rare repress coming from mid-nineties usa via one of the paris finest new labels, lazare hoche records. the bossman himself lazare hoche is an avid collector of rare house joints, and has a penchant for anything the truly epitomises the spirit of house music, raw, undiluted and full of funk. unlike some collectors who never reveal their secrets, lazare hoche decided to share his knowledge of those hard-to-find tracks of the past with this new release, and so acquired the license for three tracks by the cult duo nimbus quartet grouping them all together in a special vinyl-only reissue.

the second single from francis harris debut full length, leland contains three remixes of pharoah in the morning,one of the highlight tracks on the album featuring the phenomenal vocal talents of danish singer gry who performs here in here native tongue. two entirely distinctive remixes come courtesy of labelmate black light smoke and the other is by nsi., who should need no introduction. pharoah in the morning remixes will be out on limited edition vinyl from scissor and thread soon. look for leland in february 2012.

brian mcnasby aka heights, and rob paine aka worship, are bringing their track, teach dem dub, back home to worship recordings. the dub version of the track was originally released on the portland based label zamzam sounds on 45 vinyl, and it immediately sold out. teach dem dub will be released both digitally and on vinyl by worship, and packaged with three new interpretations of the single. since its release back in january 2014, the single gained a plethora of notoriety and was reviewed on mixmag.com in the month of march. mixmag scored the track a 9 out of 10 and commended heights + worship on constructing a piece of deepness that hasnt been heard in ages.

the lobster theremin white label debuts yet another young producer in the shape of the leeds-based hedge maze. with a tightly crafted, hazy, blissed-out house sound these three tracks have been culled from the muggy undergrowth of his northern harddrive. untitled is a chattering roller, smothered with a throbbing, wavy bassline and ending in a fuzzy, chord-soaked crescendo, while the slow, drudging rhythms of dysania give a heavy nod to some of lowtec s down tempo numbers for the label. the release is rounded out with the glistening, black-sun shower of (slow). all delay-drenched crystal stabs and oscillating soundscapes. a floating, ethereal trip into the afterlife.

the endurance club was launched in london on friday 13th november 2009 and ran as a regular party for the next three years. the aim was to treat electronic body music as an important genre in its own right rather than just a sub genre of industrial music, whilst linking it to early house and techno, belgian new beat and synthesizer dance music in general. body party is a tribute to all those that were part of the endureance club and to the artists that made the records we danced to.

as big fans of red axes, were happy to welcome niv and dori to the label. their first release for hivern is pil sagol, a three-track ep that features some of their most adventurous material to date. the title track is a slice of shamanic house full of playful melodies, dripping textures and steady rhythms that result in the sonic equivalent of psychotropic trip through the jungle. me and abra in ruanda drops the tempo but keeps the mind-expanding effect with its mangled brass sounds and ceremonious pads. todum todum is the most dance floor-driven cut of the ep, building tension through distorted toms, reverberant claps and an unrelenting bass line whilst keeping the narcotic vibe of the whole release through highly enchanting cosmic melodies. the 12inch comes in a captivating sleeve by barcelona-based designer xavier marin.

as we move into a new year, again start the cogs of labels and artists around the world, this is certainly the case for disc over music as they bring us their first release of 2015. high off the back of exquisite releases in 2014 from luca lozano & mr. ho and nicson, disc over’s first installment of 2015 comes from label head tim green - a three track ep bursting with two classic tg productions and grooves which is then given another dimension with a remix from the talented german born producer borrowed identity. the ep kicks off with the aptly named ‘scar’ - a track which when heard, truly makes it mark. it sets the tone for the rest of the ep with it’s prominent bassline and haunting howls whilst dreamlike keys bounce and float above. track two, ‘we thought’ is taken down a gear but keeps all of the groove built from ‘scar’. it begins with a simple trademark tg bassline and is allied with light and free singular keys. the listener is then joined by vocals which along with the previous elements take you on a real trip. borrowed identity speeds things up right away with his remix of ‘we thought’. the track is morphed into a dancefloor groove with the comforting vocals darkened, cut and reworked on top of an unpredictable and fluctuating bassline. managing to keep the identity of tim’s original the track becomes something completely different and certainly makes you feel you want to take the trip

tresor records is fortunate enough to be sitting on a catalogue of past releases that no other label in electronic music would turn down. three of the &#64257,,,nest in this collection were albums contributed by surgeon, “basictonalvocabulary”, “balance” and “force + form” all originally came out on the berlin institution between 1997 and 1999. surgeon’s inimitable combination of detroit techno and post-industrial sounds emanating from his british homeland found its fullest expression in these masterful trio of releases on tresor. the basictonal-remake 12” accompanied surgeon’s &#64257,,,rst tresor album in 1997, with additional versions as well as a remix by long-time birmingham collaborator mick harris.

nebraska is someone who’s tracks we’ve been loving for a good few years now and finally managed to pin him down for a release here on delusions of grandeur. the uk producer is something of an enigma, and despite some amazing releases on rush hour still remains resolutely underground and seems to keep his releases to a minimum, focusing on keeping the quality high rather than flooding the market with average material. once again, he brings the real deal with three drum-heavy warehouse jams to nice-up the dancefloor. aw-right (mute version) sets the tone with a raw house groove that keeps things stripped to the bare minimum. a bouncing bassline and rattling percussion break help to define the track but it’s the dusty, dubby approach to the mix which really makes the track shine. next up we have warp and weft, a similar sounding track but by dropping the bpm’s nebraska has created a sublime low-slung, bumpy groove to really move to. flipping over we’re treated to the brilliant eighty eights which will have you nodding your head like the churchill’s dog before you can say ‘looped up piano and bass one bar groove repeated for over eight and a half minutes shouldn’t work should it?’
